Youri van Koppen Golf Performance
The challenge
Youri is a PGA Teaching Pro at Golfcenter Seve in Rotterdam. He wanted more students, but his booking flow ran through phone calls, WhatsApp and loose messages. Leads got lost in chats, scheduling lessons cost hours every week, and there was no way for visitors to book from his site directly or get a taste of his coaching.
The analysis
The customer journey contained three separate problems: golfers needed confidence in Youri's approach, then had to arrange a suitable time manually, and follow-up happened across different channels. A brochure site or external calendar would solve only one step. Acquisition, payment and administration had to become one process.
The solution
A premium custom website with two engines under the hood. The first is Swing Check: golfers upload a swing video and get a personal video review back from Youri. That's the customer-facing tool: free to use and a natural reason to book a lesson. The second engine is the Golfly platform running in the background: online booking, iDEAL payments, package management and an admin dashboard with automatic follow-up emails. That also makes Youri the first customer of Golfly.
Why custom software
Video upload, personal review, availability, lesson packages, iDEAL payments and follow-up do not fit reliably into a generic plugin. Custom software created one consistent experience and a reusable core that could later become Golfly.
Technology
Nuxt and Vue power the fast, indexable website and booking flow. Supabase handles data, authentication and storage, while Cloudflare delivers the application securely. Features are modular so booking, payments and Swing Check can evolve independently.

The solution is live. Students can choose and pay for lessons independently, while Swing Check gives prospects a low-friction first experience. Youri manages bookings, packages and follow-up in one environment. The project also validated the foundation for Golfly.
